Avram obtained his CA at Coopers and Lybrand in London in the early 1990s, serving in their mergers and acquisitions unit before returning to South Africa in 1995.
In 1998 he started micro-finance firm Credit Direct, which was sold to African Bank in 2000. Avram then co-founded Interactive Capital with Wayne Brett in 2002, subsequently leading to Principal Partners being founded in June of 2010.
Avram has been fortunate to have been involved in a number of successful companies and transactions over a period of about 14 years. Avram is a trained accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, 2005) and has a Bachelor of Business Science (Finance) degree from the University of Cape Town.
Saul graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2002 with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Higher Diploma in Tax Law from the University of Johannesburg.
Saul was appointed as Head of Business Development for KPMG in 2008, and has extensive experience in international tax law, corporate finance, as well as trading commodities in Africa. Saul has been working with Principal Partners since 2012
